The perfect introduction for anyone who wants to learn the essential components of a good meditation practice. If we understand how to meditate correctly, we will have real confidence in our practice, and results will arise effortlessly!

Please note: Classes are given as a series, but can be taken individually. Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. Classes are held every week unless otherwise stated.

Directions
The “Monroe Center” building complex is located in between 7th & 8th Street on Monroe Street, and is just 1/2 block from the 9th Street/Congress Light Rail Stop, which connects to the NJ PATH Train at the Hoboken Station.

At 720 Monroe Street, enter through the “Monroe Center” doorway in the middle of the block. Take the elevator to the fifth floor. Turn right upon exiting the elevator. Walk down the hallway to the purple doors…C-514.

There is a parking lot in the rear of the building. (Access it from Jackson St.) Enter through rear door. Walk to the elevator in front of the building and up to the 5thfloor.

Michael Dulev is a New York City actor/waiter who has been practicing Buddhist meditation sincerely since 2005. Discovering the pure teachings of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso brought home to Michael the wisdom he had always sought. Finding the teachings to be creative, inspiring, and practical in every aspect of his life, Michael continually aspires to learn from and benefit others in his daily practice. Michael teaches at the Hoboken Branch.

Buddhist Meditation Classes in Hoboken

Based in the traditions of Kadampa Buddhism, each class is structured to include a teaching, two meditations, a group discussion, and a questions and answers session.

No special clothing is required, and pre-registration is not necessary. This class is a branch of the Kadampa Meditation Center New York City.
