It is difficult for us to identify with our potential and become the person we wish to be because we identify so strongly with our limitations. Through the meditation on the clear nature of the mind we can learn to identify with our potential. This will initiate an extraordinary process of growth and transformation.

The Compassionate WarriorThe Six Practices of a Bodhisattva
A Bodhisattva is a compassionate warrior, willing to do battle with his or her own negativity in order to be more effective in helping others. The teachings on the six main practices of a Bodhisattva, known as the perfections, provide us with inspiring and practical guidelines for the most joyful and meaningful life. The sixth practice is explained in the next series.

Buddhist Meditation
Classes in the East Village
Based in the traditions of Kadampa Buddhism, each class is structured
to include a teaching, two meditations, a group discussion, and a questions
and answers session.
No special clothing is required, and pre-registration is not necessary.
This class is a branch of Chakrasambara Buddhist Center in New York.
